At Snow-forecast Travel Insurance we know that speaking to strangers about your medical history can be daunting, which is why we offer the chance for you to declare your conditions online using our simple system or through our specially trained Kent based customer service team.
Whether you need to declare asthma or cancer, Snow-Forecast Travel Insurance have integrated specialist tool, Protectif Medical Risk Rating, on all of its policies.
Whereas many travel insurance providers may pigeon hole you based on your medical history, Protectif treats every customer as an individual, and asks the right questions to provide you with a bespoke quotation.
The process that Protectif uses to screen your conditions ensures that Snow-forecast Travel Insurance have all the information required to make informed decisions about your cover. Starting by asking for your medication and then the condition for which you take them for, this ensures that nothing is forgotten as well as helping treating doctors whilst abroad if you are taken ill.

Pregnancy is not a medical condition, therefore there is no need to declare it. However, there are certain aspects which need to be considered:
How much medical cover do I need for travel insurance?
It is ultimately your decision on how much medical cover you need. Snow-Forecast travel insurance offer 3 levels of cover, each with a varied amount of emergency medical cover. This gives customers the choice to choose the right cover for them. In general, it is suggested you have cover of at least £2m when travelling in Europe and £5m when travelling worldwide.
Can I get travel insurance with a heart condition?
We provide cover for many heart conditions, but you would need to complete a medical declaration for us to confirm. You can do this online or alternatively you can call a member of our customer service team who will guide you through the process.
What is a pre-existing medical condition and does it only apply to the traveller?
A pre-existing medical condition is any type of medical condition that existed before you took out a travel insurance policy. When completing a travel insurance quote with Snow-forecast Travel Insurance, our website or customer service team will guide you through the process of declaring these to us (for everyone listed on the policy) to ensure you are fully covered.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide cover for the pre-existing medical conditions of any non-travelling close relatives.
